This block of the month (July 2010) is a traditional pattern.

Follow the next piecing order:

• Sew A1-2, B1-2, A+B, iron the seam open. AB+C, sew from point O toward the outside. Sew ABC four times.
• D1-4, Sew D four times.
• Sew X1-3, Y1-3, Z1-3, X+Y, XY+Z.

In the next example-quilts you can see several ways to use colour.
