Patchwork pattern: Nanda's Mosaic

This block of the month (November 2007) is an foundation pattern, but it can also be traditional patched. In most quilts the AB version is used, but you can also use the mirrored version (XY).

For both ways, follow the next piecing order: A1-3, B1-3, A+B, 4 x AB = whole block. (X1-3, Y1-3, X+Y, 4 x XY = whole block)
When you sew the seam allowance toward piece 3 (A, B, X or Y), the seams will match easy together.

In the next example-quilts you can see several ways to use color.

We wish you success with making your own design.
