[For beginners] What will I learn from EQ5 Color?

Posies and Prairie Points - from Lesson 12. Learn how to design a Prairie Point edge as well as a checkerboard border.

EQ5 Quilt Design will give you a firm grounding in quilt design basics, including using Custom Set and the Graph Pad. You'll also find it filled with illustrated border, layout and setting ideas you'll refer to again and again as you work on your own.

Choose from easy, intermediate and advanced lessons
Lesson 1: Designing a Quilt 101 - The perfect "beginner's first lesson." Start clueless! End up knowing how to overlay appliqué, embroidery and quilting as you design fourteen quilts!

Under a Blanket of Love - from Lesson 16. No wonder Barb won "Viewer's Choice" awards with this quilt! What child wouldn't love sleeping under quilt-tucked Teddies?

Lesson 4: Streak of Lightning - Barb shows you how to offset strips, creating a versatile zig zag setting to use and reuse with different blocks.

Lesson 6: Showcase of Fabrics - Make the ideal "I Spy"layout for your favorite novelty fabrics.

Lesson 14: Groom's Wedding Ring - Learn the secret to creating a scalloped Wedding Ring border. Discover how to draw stunning new blocks the easy way - by superimposing one ready-made drawing on another.

Barb has written step-by-step lessons for designing twenty-nine quilts - from crib quilts to tree skirts.

Deep Blue Sea - from Lesson 10. Make waves (by editing a Drunkard's Path block). Then set blocks and fish afloat.
